We have earlier shared a bookmarklet to add smileys and emoticons in Twitter status messages. If you are a Facebook addict and want to add smileys in Facebook status messages, here is a browser extension which will be useful.
Enter Facewinks – a browser add-on available for Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari which lets you add emoticons in Facebook updates. Once the extension is installed, simply log in to your Facebook profile and you will see a new dropdown menu to add smileys.
These emoticons are generally bigger than the normal keyboard smileys. A nice way to pimp up your Facebook status updates, give it a try and surprise your friends !
Facewinks is a free extension, works wherever Facebook does (only in the web version and not on desktop clients like Scrapbook, ChitChat).
