Email a Recepitant from a Desktop Shortcut
When I am surfing the Internet Sometimes I want to share a story to my fellow blogger’s or the co-authors of my blog.I may not have my email client on always. Here is a way to send someone a mail directly from your desktop.
1.Right click any area on your desktop and select “New shortcut”.
2.Now in the window write : “mailto:contact@email.com “.Give your shortcut a relevant name and save it in your desktop.
![]()
3.Now whenever I need to send him an email my default email client opens with the address filled up.I just need to type in the story and send.
For the first time when I created the shortcut,I was surprised to see MS-Word opening the mail merge. After that i switched over to MS-Outlook.
Sending Multiple recipients: If you want to send the same email to multiple recipients separate the mail address my semicolon.
