First Barcamp At Kolkata –We are rolling !
Finally after Pune,Bangalore,Hyderabad,Chennai and Delhi,Kolkata also joined the party ! The first Barcamp at Kolkata was organized on 3rd Jan 2009 at IIT Kharagpur extension center,Salt lake.
What is a Barcamp ? : A Barcamp is a Network of User Generated conferences.Organized by Like Minded people its a kind of Workshop where people talk about what they are working on.Discussion topics generally include Current trends in technology,open source projects etc and are provided by participants and there are no Spectators ! Only participants.
I was unable to attend it but I am glad that the Barcamp ritual has started here too.Thanks to Mitesh and Ramkumar and many others for organizing it and Making it a Success. You guys Rock !
