How to Know the Exact number of RSS Subscribers of a Blog

RSS Chicklets can be hacked to misinterpret  the number of RSS subscribers a Blog has. I have seen many bloggers trying to Fool their readers by showing  Fake RSS Counts in their blog.

Some of the common methods are Photoshop or embedding Screenshot of a Popular’ blog’s RSS chicklet in their Own template. However these people do not know that you can’t fool everyone.

feed-chickletHow do I Know the Exact number of RSS Subscribers of a Blog ?

First  Copy the Address of RSS feed of the blog whose subscriber count you want to know. Then extract the name of the feed and append http://feedproxy.google.com/~fc/ Just before it .Place the Resulting address in the Browser address bar.

For example : If the Blog RSS feed is http://feeds2.feedburner.com/ampercent you can know the Exact Number of RSS subscribers by entering http://feedproxy.google.com/~fc/ampercent in the Browser address bar
