Find out who is Invisible in Gtalk
Some of your friends using Gtalk may be online but they prefer to be in the invisible mode. You cannot force them to chat with you but there is a neat trick that would help you determine invisible users in Google talk or Gmail chat.
Following are the steps involved :
1.While chatting with someone in a Chat window first ,go off the record.
2.Next, go to settings and select “ Never save chat history”
3.When you want to check whether a Gmail user is invisible just send him/her a message. If the user is Offline then you will receive a notification “The user did not received your chat”. If the user is Invisible then you won’t get that Notification. See the following screenshot

really a nice trick.is there another way when i’m using Gtalk and without disabling recording chat?

well, is step 2 important or i can just use step 1?
@Meena the 2nd step is not necessary at all regarding the context of this article. That step is mentioned only in cases you wanna save or not save the Chat records. So if you have already been through the 1st step, then there is nothing else to do. Follow the 3rd step now, to check how you could find who is hiding…Hope that helped. Keep coming.

Here is a perl script to find invisible users in gmail. It checks for all users in your contacts. You dont need to send any offlines in this method.
