We got the first Google PR update

Quickly wanted to share with Our readers that Ampercent got a Pagerank Update. We went from a 0 pagerank to 2 today.

Pagerank Update

The Homepage is at PR 2 while Some other pages of the Blogs have also received a pagerank boost. Check This Screenshot that Lists all The pages that Got the pagerank boost.

One of Our articles(Interview with Sramana Mitra) got a PR 3.This proves that The Homepage may not have the highest Pagerank in a Site.

Another point I Found is that Some of the pages that do not have any backlinks associated with them also got a pagerank raise. Does that mean that Backlinks are not mandatory for pagerank increase ?
