Google image search is a great place to find relevant and quality images  for any topic. Many people use Flickr and other image search engines but when it comes to relevancy and quality, nothing beats Google image search.

But there is just a small problem – when you search for a keyword and hit Enter, the image search results are shown as thumbnail previews only. Google Images has recently introduced a new feature which lets you find images of different sizes and dimensions. Let’s say you are searching for “Apple” but want a really big wallpaper or poster size of the image. In such situations, it’s certainly a good idea to compare different image sizes and download the specific image which fits your requirements.

To see images of different sizes for a particular keyword or phrase, simply hover your mouse cursor over an image thumbnail and you should see a “More sizes” link, as shown in the following example search

Next, click the link and Google will show you photos of different sizes and resolutions that matches your search criteria. This is very useful when you want to see and compare a lot of sample images on the same subject and then download the perfect dimension which you are looking for.
