Google.mE – Avail All Google Services On Your Desktop

Written by Soumen Halder on 5 Jan, 2010 Under Software

We have previously discussed about GMDesk – A Cross-Platform App That Brings Google Services All In One Place. Google.mE is a similar service that lets you access most popular Google products like Picasa, Google docs, GMail, and many more on your desktop.

Unlike the earlier one(GMDesk), which is a Adobe AIR App, Google.mE is a java based application.

NOTE : As mentioned earlier that this is a java based project, you will need to install Java on your machine. If you don’t have it installed, download & install it.

1. Download Google.mE. Extract the package.

2. Double-click the file GooglemE.jar to run.

3. Provide your username & password for the Google Account that you will be using with Google.mE. Now select the Google Services that you want to use from the list of available services provided at the bottom.

4. Press the Login button. That’s all. Enjoy the utility.
