How to Automatically Generate and Assign Strong Passwords In Windows XP
While setting passwords Computer Users normally choose a phrase or a number that they can easily Memorize.But in most of the cases they are not strong enough.You will be surprised to know that Windows XP can generate randomly generated strong passwords for you.It can assign that password to a user account as well.
Suppose you want to Let Windows XP generate and assign a strong password for a user in your computer.For a matter of security test this with a Non-administrator account.
1.Open the command Prompt and type in the following code :
net user username /random
Replace Username with the actual Login account name whose password you want to generate Hit enter.

Important Note:The password will be reset and set to the new password as generated by the command prompt.Note this password(best will be to save it in a text file) as this will be required to login to your account.If you want to change this to a more convenient password that you can easily remember,you can configure it from User Accounts in the control Panel.
