How to Create Log Files with Notepad

Today I found a very interesting way to create a Log file with notepad.A log is a file that tracks and stores the time and date of a particular task performed.Using the Log files its very easy to track how much time you spend doing different tasks in your computer.

To create a Log file Open Notepad and type .LOG in the first line.Use uppercase letters only.Having done that save your notepad file and give it a relevant name.(I usually name the file according to the Date.)Now when you open the file again you will see that the date and time has automatically been appended and new text can be added.Add a text and save the file.

Continue the process until you finish the task.Now later you can analyze how much time you spent in doing what in a particular task using that log file.

Note :Works with other Operating systems Windows 98,Windows Me and Windows Xp and other Notepad programs like Notetablight.
