The brightest aspect of this device would be it’s display as one would expect FHD resolution in a 5 inch screen would be crystal clear. With appropriate amount of brightness, color production, nice viewing angles, this display won’t disappoint you. Dimensions of this device are 145 x 71 x 8.55mm and it weighs 129 grams only. As you can see this device would be thin and light to carry and it comes in Matte white and Matte blue colors.

Lenovo Vibe S1 has a 1.3GHz Octa- Core MediaTek MT6753 SoC coupled with Mali T720 GPU. Coming to memory, it comes with a 2GB of RAM, 16 GB flash storage which can be expandable using MicroSD card. If you compare this with Vibe S1, you could see it had 1.7GHz octa core processor and 3 GB RAM. If you compare both devices in terms of power, definitely S1 Lite is compact version with low budget so has reduced processing power and RAM, but as an average user, you wouldn’t find much difference between the two, and you could use the Lite version without getting any hitch. This device runs Android Lollipop 5.1 which is a downside as of now, but we can expect an OTA update soon.

Battery, Connectivity and Others

Coming to Connectivity, this device supports 4G but comes with Hybrid SIM slot (Nano + Nano/SD) which means either you can use dual SIMs on this device or you have to sacrifice one SIM for expandable storage. Since many of us are using mobile devices to store our favorite songs, videos and stuff, you might actually run out of memory soon in this device so you would probably had to keep that in mind. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Conclusion

Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite announced for $199 which is approx equal to Rs.13.25K. Comparing with Vibe S1 which was a 20K device, you would definitely find not so good areas but for the price bracket those sacrifices also come along. But if you look at this device as it is, you would find it has got above average specs and would bear average performance like a cake walk.

So, if your budget is below 14K and looking for a device with balanced specs and features in that budget, you can take a look at this device.
