@Tempenke: I am not sure whether you can manage WordPress.com blog comments from Windows Live writer or the Adobe AIR app. Used it sometime back but now find it a bit distracting .

I use Moderator. But the desktop comment client is great if you want to create an archive of comments. Supports multiple blogs also. Thanks for the comment Uttoran
