Microsoft releases Internet Explorer 8 : Now available for Download
Microsoft has Finally moved internet Explorer 8 out of Beta and the final version is available for download.I am using IE 8 and It has some Impressive features already.
According to Microsoft, Internet Explorer 8 is More secure against malware as compared to Mozilla Firefox or Chrome and packed with new features that makes browsing safe and convenient.
Microsoft had also stated that improving overall browser performance is a goal for IE8, since IE7’s frequent crashes are the reason many users say they have switched from IE to Firefox.
What makes Internet Explorer 8 Different : New Advanced Features
InPrivate Browsing : Now you can browse the Web with a private session (just like Incognito in Google chrome) without saving your history with Internet Explorer 8’s InPrivate Browsing. This leaves no Trace of your opened Websites,File Downloads.So you can safely browse on another computer without leaving any trace.
Just open a New tab and select “Browse with InPrivate” .This Opens a new session that won’t record the sites you visit,the files you download etc.Closing the Browser window ends your Inprivate browsing Session.
Accelerators : Using IE 8 accelerators you can quickly perform routine tasks while surfing.Just Highlight the text from any webpage and click on the blue accelerator icon to obtain various suggestions.This Feature can be used to translate words,finding directions or email something to your friend etc.

Gather content from Websites using Web Slices
The new Webslices feature allows you to Keep track of your Frequently visited Websites from the favorites bar.If a page is enabled for the Webslices option a green icon appears in the right corner of the browser.Just click this icon to Subscribe
This feature can be used to keep track of Multiple Email accounts,Sports news,RSS feeds etc .When new information becomes available, the Web Slice will become highlighted.
Get search Suggestions with Instant Search
The new Search Suggestions feature is brilliant and it offers you relevant information as you type words in the search box.Clicking a Suggestion Executes the Search so you do not have to type the entire Search Query or phrase.
But what sets is apart is the new “Visual Search”.The visual Search pulls images and content from the web making your search more appealing and relevant and you get immediate answers.Just type the name of a famous book or a scientist and chances are that you will be seeing the image of the author right from the live Search Search box.You can also set your preferred search provider to fine tune your Search
IE8 includes matches search from your Browsing History at the bottom of the Search box.You can also Search text on the Current webpage with IE 8 with the “Find on page” button on the instant search box
Stay Safe with the Smart Screen Filter : If you are about to visit a webpage that serves malware or could harm your system in other ways by installing malicious software IE8 sets a warning with a Red screen.
Also Domains are highlighted so that you can easily interpret web addresses So IE 8 is more secured and safer for you ! Hm….sounds good improvements.
I have Uninstalled IE 7 from my system and now I am enjoying IE8. The speed and compatibility issues has improved greatly but I really love the Interface and the new advanced search feature.

Note : Microsoft plans to include IE8 as a part of the Windows 7 operating System.But for the first time Microsoft is letting Users decide whether they wish to use IE8 as an added feature or not.

Selection-based search is really helpful. One GREAT feature of KallOut is BestGuess. The challenge with selection-based search is that the user has to figure out which one to apply to his selection. It’s a little clunky once you get more than two or three. KallOut does a super job figuring out which accelerator you need to use for a given selection-based search request. Kallout — Accelerators for Firefox is actually kind of spooky when it works so well.
Check it out! I agree that it’s a big step forward for the user to have the selection-based search bundled into the browser by default, however.
