Firefox : Open Multiple Bookmarks with a Click and Login Automatically

You want to open some Sites in multiple tabs that you visit on a regular basis and several times a day and login to them automatically.This article describes how you can manage your automatic login in Firefox.

Open Multiple Bookmarks With a click and login Automatically

1.Create a New Folder in your Bookmarks toolbar and name it “Regular”.Copy and Paste all the Bookmarks that you visit often in that Folder.

2.Login to each of those Bookmarks and save the Passwords for the usernames in Firefox.

3.First Install the Greasemonkey Script.Then Install the AutologinJ User Script.

4.Open the Greasemonkey panel from the Extreme Right Bottom in firefox.Click on “manage User Scripts.”.

5. Add all the bookmarks from the folder Regular that you created earlier.Make sure to enter a wild card character after the URL’s.(For example : You can use http://delicious.com/* instead of http://delicious.com.This Makes sure that if you are on any delicious page the autologin script logs you in automatically.

6.Enable the Greasemonkey script by right clicking it.

7.Whenever you want to login to the sites you often visit just Click on the folder “Regular” from your Bookmarks  toolbar and select “Open all in tabs”.Firefox Will log you in automatically to all those websites. You may divide the Folder “Regular” Into Subfolders for even more convenience.

How I use this Concept and Save time and Effort

I have bookmarked  Facebook,Stumbleupon,Digg,etc under a folder “Social Networks”. I have also Bookmarked My Google apps Email login,Wordpress login,Google analytics link in another Folder named “My Site”.Whenever I need to perform a routine check on my blog and see the stats i hit the “My Site” Folder and select “Open all in tabs”.This applies to the folder Social Networks as well. Firefox logs me in Automatically.

Note : This above trick won’t work if you have saved multiple usernames under a same bookmark.

Fair enough. Install the SnapLinks Firefox Addon .Hold your right click and Drag a Box around the URL’s you want to open.The area you highlight is marked green and all the hyperlinks detected within the box are marked as red.When you release the right click button all the URL’s are opened in Tabs.
