Pingdom Releases Desktop Application For Monitoring Site Downtimes
Pingdom – the very renowned service for checking uptime reports for your website, has just released a cool desktop application. Now you can check your site’s uptime from your computer and without having to visit different websites every now and then.
The Pingdom desktop notifier sits in your system tray and checks your site’s uptime at regular intervals. It shows a "green signal" if your site is up and running normally. If the signal goes Red, then your site is facing downtimes.
To use the app, you need to have a pingdom account (it’s free). If you do not have one, the app can create one for you during installation. You can browse to the web based pingdom dashboard and set email alerts whenever your site is facing downtimes.
You can measure the uptime of onlyone blog with the desktop application. The application is compatible for Windows XP, Windows vista and Windows 7.
