How to Send an Email to Blog authors From Wordpress Admin panel

If you run a multi authored blog, then there may be some situations when you would like to email blog authors from the Wordpress administration panel.

Here are some situations to consider:

1. You are an editor and want to quickly notify authors about grammatical mistakes and corrections from Wordpress admin panel.

2. You get dozens of email every single hour and don’t want to get distracted by opening Gmail or your regular email client.

In such cases, you would love using Email-users Wordpress plugin. This plugin can be used to send emails from Wordpress administration panel and also to notify blog authors when you edit or update a post.

When you are done updating a post, just click the "Notify Authors" link in the Wordpress write post panel.

This will open the plugin page from where you can select a particular author and send the email. The beauty of the plugin: If you had edited an earlier article and want to let the author know about it, the email would contain a snippet of the content and the URL of the blog post you had edited.

You can also send the same email to multiple authors and user groups.

Send a generic email: You can also send a "hello" email to blog authors from the Wordpress admin panel itself. The email can be sent to one or more individual users or to to one or more user groups. All in all, this is an awesome plugin that saves a lot of time and energy. A must have for editors and multi authored blogs.
