Working with Smartart-Rotating Objects and embedded Images

The problem that occurs in case you want to rotate a Smartart Graphic is that you can easily rotate the Object but the Pictures in the objects do not rotate with the Object .This makes the whole design look peculiar. This problem may be solved in this way :

1.At first let us create the Object and add an image in that Object. For those who don’t know how to add a Smartart graphic please refer here.

2.Then drag and Drop the Image in the desired position on the object.

3.Now lets Rotate the Object first.Right click on the Object and select “Format shape”.Now on the Pop up window play around with “3D rotation” and “3D format” and give your object the look that you want. You can also choose some nice presets that Word provides.

Note that the Image hasn’t rotated yet.We have only rotated the Object.Note down the settings that you are using in 3D rotation of the object.

4.Now right click the image and click “Format Shape”.Select the appropriate Line color. If you want the image to completely Blend with the object select the object background color.

5.After that click on 3D rotation and select the same settings that you earlier choose for the object. After that just Drag and drop in the desired position and you have successfully rotated the image.
