How to Use G mail for storage and Use it as an External Drive

You thought G mail can be used for sending only emails ? With Gmail drive you can use G mail as a storage medium and store Files directly in your G mail account.Later,You can retrieve the files from any other computer you like.

By default G mail Provides a lot of space to its users(7000 Mb).The amount of apace is too much and you can use it to your advantage for storing Files,Folders,Songs ,Photos videos etc. Here are the steps that you need to follow :

1.Grab a Copy of G mail drive.

2.After the download is complete Unzip the Installer and Run it.You will see a new Disk drive in your Windows Explorer.

3.Double click the Drive and you are prompted to log in. Log in with your G mail account  in the G drive that you Just created.

4.Your virtual G mail drive is ready to use.Just drag and Drop files as you usually do in your computer.The files that you add in G drive are automatically associated with your Google account.

5.Back in My Computer, right-click the Gmail Drive icon to log out, check properties (used
space, free space), or log back in.

Synchronize Multiple computers Easily :You can Mount the G drive of any Google account as long as you know the password.So You can easily share files,Movies,Music among friends and family using G drive.This can also come in handy when you wish to Synchronize your Home computer and office computer without using an external Hard drive.

G mail drive is nothing but a namespace extension that creates a File system and associates it with your Google account.It is perfect for Storing Small sized Documents and Pictures,Music etc.
