Hide the Stumbleupon Toolbar But Use it to Stumble Anyway
Toolbars take up a lot of space on the screen and that’s why I don’t use them (except Google toolbar). So if you are a Stumbleupon fan you can use Stumbleupon without the toolbar directly.
One of the Solution is Using Stumbleupon Bookmarklets. They can be used to stumble or see reviews of a page without requiring you to install the toolbar.
A more easier method is what follows next :
1. Click on the stumble upon toolbar menu and choose “Toolbar options”.
2. Next enable stumbling shortcuts by selecting the shortcuts tabs and enable the stumbling hotkeys.
I think you have got the idea.
Alt + ` = Stumble a Page / Alt + 1 = Thumbs Up / Alt + 2 = Thumbs Down / Alt + 3 = See reviews.
Now you can permanently hide the stumble upon toolbar from Firefox menu –> view—> Toolbars and uncheck the Stumbleupon toolbar.
This trick is especially useful when you are on a rapid-fire stumble mood and want to quickly browse through stumbled pages by using only your keyboard.
