Other Inbox is one such application that can access your Gmail or Google Apps account and can assign the relevant labels to all your emails. Like all your Twitter and Facebook notifications go to the label “Social Networking” after sorting.

Go to Other Inbox sign-up page and enter your email in the space provided. Now press the button “Sign Up with Gmail or Google Apps”. You will be asked to authorize the service. Depending on the number of your emails will be sorted into labels. Once done you can go to your inbox.

Now as you can see all your mails have been automatically enlisted under new labels. Now you can manually enter each of them and cleanup unnecessary emails.

It is simply a document collaboration interface. You can chat with other users (you are working with) while the document editing is on. You can import your contacts from your Google account as well. You will have a public calendar where people can see when you are available. In real life situations you will never be in need of a secretary to schedule your meetings. Just share the link with anybody you wish to have a meeting with. He can then choose three meeting time to attend it. He will only be able to choose the time form your available time in the meeting. He can also choose to invite multiple members there. Once you confirm the time, he will get a confirmation mail automatically. This meeting will then be synced across all your calendars.

1. Multiple Account Sign-In

This is really something all Gmail users have been waiting for. Due to the ease of use quite a lot of people (including me) use Gmail as their mailing service. Now most of them have multiple Gmail accounts. As a result, when you have to check mails you have log in and out from every account with one at a time.You do not need to worry anymore.

1. Log in to your Google Accounts and click the “Edit” button beside the Multiple Acconts.

2. Now check the option “On” and all the following options listed below it. Once done press “Save” button.

3. Once done you can use the “multiple sign in” by clicking the down arrow in the top right corner.

You can multiple sign in feature with Google services like Calendar, Code, Gmail, Reader, Sites and Voice. Google Apps accounts are not supported as of now. You can use upto 3 Gmail at a time.

TIP : You can link multiple Gmail accounts and check all your emails at one place or you could use desktop email clients like MS Outlook 2007 or 2010, Spicebird, Digsby to accumulate all your emails.

2. Drag Files Onto Messages To Add Them As Attachments

All the time, I have been a fan of Gmail reminding me to attach files if I mistakenly hit the “Send” button with something related to Attach in my message body and no files attached. Now attaching files in a new Gmail message has become even more smart as you can just drag and drop files into a Gmail message to add them a attachment. The rule applies for all kind of files that can be added as an attachment. Currently you can avail this facility only on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Support for other browsers are yet to come. 3. Drag And Drop Attachments onto Your Desktop To Download It

Just like the earlier feature the reverse is also true i.e you can drag and drop attachments on a mail to download attachments to your computer. Until now you had to press the “Download” button to download it. The feature also works for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

4. Add HTML Signatures in Gmail

Email signatures is a great way to promote your brand but unfortunately Gmail only allowed text signatures in the messages. Hence for now you had to use use browser addons like Wisestamp or Autopen to append HTML signatures in every Gmail messages. Luckily, Gmail has finally rolled out its own way to add HTML signatures in the messages. However, Wisestamp still is my favorite.

5. Nested Labels and Message Sneak Peaks

Well that is a bit older compared to earlier four features but still it has helped me a lot in categorizing my emails in a productive manner with ease of access. Hence I aam including this one too. Amit has previously posted abou this here.

Somebody has rightly remarked that, “Necessity is the mother of all invention”. The rule is well valued by the Gmail software team and hence they have also got a page where you can suggest a new feature (or vote on an existing one) to them that you need in Gmail. Download the utility from the OfficeDrop website and install it. Once done you will need to sign in with your Google Docs credentials. Now connect your scanner to your computer and put the documents (you wish to scan) in it. Now that the documents are scanned the app will put all the queued files into a PDF and then uploads it to any specific folder (that you choose) in Google Docs. You can edit the PDF prior to uploading it to the cloud server. You can also choose to upload the file to your Evernote or OfficeDrop online account.
