Create a Background Image From Photos Of Twitter Friends, Followers or Mutual Friends

Want to create a simple background image from profile thumbnails of your Twitter friends? Check out twbg – a simple web based twitter application which allows you to create a background image from photos of Twitter friends, followers or that of Twitter mutual friends.

For example: Here is a background mosaic image made up of all my Twitter friends and followers:

Create a background image from Twitter friends, followers, mutual friends

All you have to do is authorize the application and then choose the properties of the background image. The App lets you choose:

  • whether you want to use only your friends photos for the background image.
  • whether you want to use your followers thumbnails in the background image.
  • choose from a list of mutual friends
  • create the image with thumbnails of all friends and followers.

Once the image is ready, you can use the image as your Twitter profile’s background or download the image in your computer. The available sizes is 800 X600 and  1200 X 800 px.

The only catch is that Twbg will add a branded thumbnail right on the top of the photo mosaic, but that’s fair considering the fact that you can create as many mosaics as you want or set the image as your twitter profile’s background.
