How to Install/Uninstall Media Player And Media Center in Windows 7

If you are willing to remove Windows Media Player or Media Center or both of them here is a step by step tutorial to guide you through this.

1. Open Run by pressing Windows key + R.

2. Type appwiz.cpl in it and hit enter.

3. In the next window, click “Turn Windows Feature on or off“.

4. In the Windows Features window scroll down to find “Media Features”. Expand it.

5. Now uncheck the box beside Media Player/Center to uninstall it. Check the same to install it again.

6. You will be prompted that turning it off may affect your Windows default settings. If you are too desperate to remove it press Yes. Else press No.

7. Now press Ok in the Windows features window and the uninstalling/re-installation will start.

8. Once its done you will be asked to restart your PC.
