Windows live Writer 2009 – New features with tag Support for Wordpress

Just Updated to the latest Version of Windows live Writer.The interface is although same but some extra Features like Filtering Posts and Live  Tag Support have Been added.

Tag Support for Wordpress : Now you can tag your posts Directly from Windows live writer as you type.In the earlier Versions It was not available and i had to search for a Workaround.

More Border Options : More Border options are available in the Updated Version.The rounded corners and Instant photo options are really worth a look.

Search and Filter posts : This is really time Saving and Best feature added.Now you can search your drafts for a particular post in Real time.WLW has added a “Filter Drafts “ that searches your drafts as you type.

Add Image From a Web Address : Now You can Add Images to your Blog Post From a web Address.Earlier it was Not available.This may be useful  if you wish to  Save Server Space.

Insert or Upload Videos : Now You can Insert Videos from Windows Live Writer.Just Embed the Video URL from Tools—> Add Video.You can also Upload your Videos To YouTube or Soap Box Directly From Windows live Writer.(Note : You must have a previously approved YouTube or Hotmail account.)

What Next ? : The Support for Some Wordpress Plugins like All in one Seo pack is Still Not available.Thus we still have to log in to our Wordpress dashboard to finalize our Post.Hope to see this Fixed in the Coming versions.
