You can find same buttons at same position, logo at the same position and speaker at the same place. In fact, both of them are having touch sensitive physical buttons on the front side. The next thing is camera, which is placed at the same position. Considering all the things, you will not get any difference between these two mobiles in terms of placements of different things. At the same time, the dimension and weight are almost same. Obviously, you can find some distinctions but they are negotiable. The dimension of Xiaomi Redmi 3 is 5.48 x 2.74 x 0.33 inch and it weighs 144gm. On the other hand, the dimension of Lenovo Lemon 3 is 5.59 x 2.80 x 0.31 inch and it weighs 142gm. Display is always vital for any mobile. But, you should check them minutely when you are comparing two entry-level mobiles. However, you cannot find them entry-level mobiles after considering the display. They are as good as they should be. You can find 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen in both of them. Although, the color depth is same but the resolution and pixel density are different. Xiaomi Redmi 3’s screen resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels and hence the pixel density is ~294PPI. On the other hand, the resolution of Lenovo Lemon 3 is 1080 x 1920 pixels and the pixel density is ~441PPI. Although, you cannot find any major difference while using those two mobiles but you will get different screenshots and other things while capturing the screen. As the screen resolution is different, the image resolution would be different as well.

The very next thing is CPU. The surprising thing is you will get same chipset, processor and GPU in both of the mobiles. This is a very surprising thing because the second company always make some changes in those things. But, this time, Lenovo has not made any change and implemented the same hardware in Lemon 3. Hence, you will get Qualcomm MSM8939v2 Snapdragon 616 motherboard, quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and Adreno 405 GPU in those mobiles.

Talking about the memory and storage, you will not get any difference as the configuration is same. You will get 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be extended up to 128GB. Here is another tie.

Next thing is Camera, which is same as well. You can find the same camera i.e. 13MP rear camera with LED flash, phase detection, autofocus etc. On the other hand, 5MP front facing camera is also included. Apart from that, you can record video in 1080p using the rear camera.

The last but not the least thing is battery and this is where Xiaomi Redmi 3 excels. As you know that Xiaomi has included 4100 mAh battery in Redmi 3 but Lenovo Lemon 3 comes with 2750 mAh battery. There is no doubt that the Xiaomi Redmi 3 will provide better battery backup than the Lemon 3.
