Capturing photo from mobile has become a new trend in today’s world. No matter, what mobile you buy, but you will certainly get camera in that device. Now, suppose, you are on a holiday and you have gone to somewhere. Obviously, you will capture images. But, you do not want to let others know where did you capture those images. As anybody, who knows about Exif Data, can get such information within seconds. Therefore, if you do not want to let others know the image location, you can change geotag of any photo. If you are on computer, this is very easy but if you have iPhone, it is even easier.
How to Change Geotag of Any Photo in iOS
This is very easy. Although, you cannot do it without using any app but still it is very easy and not much time consuming. There is an app called Mappr, which is available for free and compatible with iOS 7.0 and later version. It is really very easy to use. Hence, you do not have to spend a lot of time to change geotag of any photo in iOS.
At first, download and install Mappr on your iOS device. After opening it, you will be greeted with the following screen,
Here, you can choose a previously captured photo or you can capture an image now. If you already have an image, just tap on Photos. After that, this app will pin the location, where your image was actually captured. But, you can change the location by selecting. For that, just search for a location, what you wish to set.
Therefore, hit the Share button. Here, you will get two options i.e. Open in Instagram and Save.
That simply implies, you can either share your photo on Instagram or you can save it in local storage. Do what you want.
