How to Charge Mobile when Laptop is in Sleep Mode
Do you have a laptop? Do you want to charge your mobile via your laptop? This is very simple. You can simply plug in your device via USB cable and set the USB connection type to Charging Only to charge your mobile from laptop. This is as easy as said.
Nowadays, many people often charge mobile from laptop. Laptop is working as a secondary power source for many people. This is helpful though. Let’s assume that you are having only a laptop, mobile and your mobile’s USB cable but there is no electricity right now. At such moments, we simply turn off the laptop. But, unfortunately, if you do so, your charging will be stopped right away as laptop will stop providing the power after switching it off. Therefore, what will you charge mobile when laptop is in Sleep mode or you have just turned it off?
Here is a simply solution that will let you charge phone when laptop is in Sleep mode. You do not have to install any third party software. Instead, you can just change settings to get things done. This is possible with Windows laptop and this trick is mainly executed on a Windows laptop and it is a working trick.
Charge Mobile when Laptop is in Sleep Mode
You will have to make a change in Device Manager to get thing done. This is very easy and not much time consuming as well. Therefore, at first, open Device Manager on your Windows PC. To do so, you can get help from Win + X menu, Taskbar search box or Cortana search box on Taskbar or use Run prompt. If you use run prompt, you will have to enter this: Devmgmt.msc
After open Device Manager on Windows, you can find an option called Universal Serial Bus controllers. Expand the menu, right click on USB Root Hub and select Properties.
In the USB Root Hub Properties, you can find a tab called Power Management. Switch to that tab. Here, you can find an option called Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Just remove the tick from respective checkbox. Now, hit the OK button to change your settings.
That’s it! You are done. Now, you can charge mobile when laptop is in Sleep mode.
