We all generally lock down our mobiles. If your mobile is locked down, you will have to unlock it in order to check all notifications. However, if you use Active Display on iOS 10, you would be able to check notifications on lock screen. The best part is you do not even have to press any key to light up the screen. Your mobile will catch the movement and light up the display whenever you will pick up the mobile. Therefore, all the notifications will be on your screen and that can be visible without unlocking. For your information, this particular feature is available only in iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
Sometime, it is pretty good. But some time you may have to fall into trouble as your notifications will be visible on lock screen. Some sensitive information may be disclosed in front of unwanted people. Also, every time you will pick up the phone, the screen will be light up and hence, you will have to provide more battery backup to function this feature.
