Enable Hidden Security Features Of Google Chrome
There are two features to enable. One is Enable Phishing and Malware Protection and the other is Enable Do Not Track Request.
Enable Phishing and Malware Protection
By enabling this security feature in Google Chrome, you will be notified when you visit a virus infected website. You will get a message as Reported Phishing Website Ahead! or The Website Ahead Contains Malware!
Enable Do Not Track Request
Sometimes we see that, ads on the website we visit matches with our search history. It means that, some third party websites are tracking your search history. To avoid such tracking, enable this security feature of Google Chrome.
Steps to enable these two security features of Google Chrome
STEP 1: Open Google Chrome browser and click on Menu on the top right corner, then click on Settings.
STEP 2: Scroll to the bottom and click on Show advanced Settings.
STEP 3: In Privacy section, check Enable phishing and malware protection.
STEP 4: Next, under the same section check Send a “Do Not Track” request with browsing traffic.
