At such moments, you can do two things. First, you can use a dedicated video cutter app to cut the video as per your requirements. Second, you can use VLC media player to do the same.
In the second case, you do not have to install another third-party software. Video cutter apps are quite big. Therefore, it would be helpful for you if you can trim video with the help of VLC media player.
Before opting for this trick, you should know the drawback of this tutorial.

Otherwise, this trick is smooth, and it works perfectly with any video that VLC media player can play.
Trim Video Using VLC Media Player
This is very easy and not much time consuming as well. If you have already installed VLC Media Player, go to the second step. Otherwise, install this media player on Windows. This is available for Windows XP SP3 or later version.
After installing, open any video that you want to trim. There are some options those are not available by default in VLC Media Player. You have to enable those functions. For that, click the View and select Advanced controls.
Following that, you should find some options above the default menu bar in the bottom. You should see a Record button along with some other options. Now, click the Record button at the starting point. For example, if you want to cut the video at the 56th second, you need to wait till VLC gets to the 56th second and then, you need to click the Record button.
After that, whenever you want to stop, click the same button again.
Now, your trimmed video will be saved in the Videos folder. This is a Library folder, and you can access it from Windows Explorer’s left-hand side.
That’s all! Hope this simple tutorial would be helpful for you.
