New Gmail Feature Shares Drive Files As Attachments

Gmail is the one which we use every day. Google is updating it with many features which makes it’s users easy to use. It is mainly concentrating on security of emails. Google Drive is also another important step of Google as cloud service. Previous, if we want to share files from Google Drive, we are only supposed to share the drive link of the file. If user has removed the shared file form the drive, then the recipient was not able to see the file again.

But, now Google has updated the Gmail. Now we can attach the files from drive directly as the file, but not as shared link. This is really a great step for Gmail. Even though you remove the file from Drive after sending the attachment, recipient can access it, as it now becomes the normal file attachment.

While composing an email, click on the drive icon if you want to attach the file from drive.
