Oppo the leading electronics company announced in an event in October that it is going to launch the new slim mobile Oppo R5. So, now Oppo R5 is going to launch in India soon. Along with Oppo N3, Oppo has launched Oppo R5. It is well known for it’s sleek and thin size. Now, the attention is being drawn to Oppo R5 from Gionee Elife S5.1. It gives the awesome look and feel because of it’s micro-arc frame which is hand polished. The best feature of the devices is said to be the aluminium body which is very stylish and thin. It might be available for Rs. 25, 000 to Rs. 30, 000 in India.

Design

Oppo R5 is just 4.85mm in thickness and it is the slimmest phone in the world and also in India so far. It is good to hold with the thin aluminium body and is also the light weight. If you place it beside some pile of papers, you will realize how thin the Oppo R5 smart phone is. Navigating on the screen is really simple. It can be charged in a very faster way. Oppo claims that, it takes just 30 minutes to charge till 75% starting from zero.

It uses the rapid charging VOOC technology which was being used by Oppo N3. It also has the “Cool Element” which makes your Oppo R5 to stay cool even when you use it for long time.

Display

It is with 5.2 inch screen and gives you the display of 1080p Full HD AMOLED Display. It has the pixel density of 423ppi. It has lot of themes and runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) and uses the Color OS 2.0. It is with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It uses octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, with 1.5 GHz and is a 64-bit.

It comes in the gold edition also, which may cost you more when compared to the normal edition of Oppo R5. USP of R5 smart phone is good at it’s design. It stays in working condition without any breaks even when much force is applied on it. It is with all latest specifications.

Camera

It is with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It is very good to take selfies because of the 5MP front camera. It gives you the good quality pictures which allow you to take pictures which are really needed. Due to the good quality of rear camera, it is good to take quality videos.
