You can get it done without using any third-party software since Microsoft has already included an option in the settings menu to hide Microsoft Edge button in IE 11. For that, open Internet Explorer > click on the settings gear button > select Internet Options. Following that, go to Advanced tab. Under the Browsing category, you can find an option called Hide the button (next to the New Tab button) that opens Microsoft Edge.
By default, it should be unchecked. You need to make a tick in the corresponding checkbox. After that, click on the Apply and OK button. You may not get the effect immediately. To get that, you need to restart your browser.
That’s it! Now you cannot find the Microsoft Edge button in Internet Explorer. If you want to get it back, you need to go to the same place and uncheck that option.
