Actually, this three-in-one Start menu can show live tiles, Library folders, and recently/most-opened apps. No company can make everybody happy. You can create anything but still there will be at least one person who will dislike your creativity and start criticizing. Therefore, the same thing has happened with Windows 10’s Start Menu. Even after being a great development, there are tons of there are criticizing it every day and night. There are still tons of people, who do not like it since they are now familiar with Windows without Start Menu.

If you are one of them, who want to remove the Start Menu completely, I would like to say that it is not possible as of now. You have two options on your hand.

  1. You can switch from Start Menu to Metro Screen like Windows 8 or Windows 8.1
  2. If you do not keep the Start Menu where it is located by default, here is another guide.

Before going through the second solution, you have to switch from Start Menu to Start Screen. You can check this guide to do so.

After doing that, head over to this link and download Start Killer. Start Killer is one of the best free software to remove the Start Button from Windows 7, Windows 8.1 as well as Windows 10. This is a very easy to use software.

After downloading and installing it, your Start Button will be removed automatically. You can find the Start killer icon in your System Tray. Just double click on that button and select Load on system startup.

If you really want to get rid of Start Menu as well as Start Button, Start Killer is a good solution. But, according to me, you should not do so because the Start Menu itself is a productive feature of Windows 10.
