Lately, no one was excited for Samsung. They kept on disappointing even the fanboys by launching sub-par midrange devices and high-end phones with clichéd design.

But everything was changed when they released Galaxy S7 Edge. People went crazy behind the phone that offers an impressive curved design with the display. The edge features dragged gadget freaks to the device like it never happened before.

As a result, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge became the most sold phone in the first six months of this year, 2016. They have sold about 13.3 million units during this period.

But the surprising fact is the evolvement of J2 as the second most popular smartphone with 13 million sales already.

Samsung’s joy finds no boundaries on knowing S7 is third popular phone all over the world in 2016 after selling 11.8 million units.

The research showed that the gross smartphone sale went from 552 million to 577 million as compared to the previous year.

Not surprisingly, Apple’s global share is declining in favor to Android.

Their research further reveals that Samsung shouldn’t sit back and taste the pleasure of their transient success as sales of other brands are exponentially growing. They even showed some examples such as OPPO R9, Huawei P9, and Vivo X7.

We don’t know what impact Galaxy Note 7 is going to impose on the smartphone sale statistics. Let’s wait to see whether it outperforms the sister with whopping sale figures in the second half-year of 2016.
