Currently the smart phone market is facing huge competition all over. Demand for smart phones getting increased day by day, eventually hardware becoming cheaper. It is a very healthy competition to deliver technology into our hands. “Good Phones are getting cheap and cheap phones are getting good.” Even though the average priced mobiles are in demand now, high-priced mobiles with whooping specs have their own market and audience.

Gionee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company producing smart phones in Indian market for a couple of years now. This company has recently released Elife E8, as a successor to Elife E7. This guy is priced at Rs.34,999/- on Snapdeal. It is clearly an expensive device and it would be competing with Devices from renowned companies like Nexus 5X> and Galaxy S6. So, let’s take a look at the specs and try to find out whether it is worth a buy.

First things first- let’s start with it’s own unique features.

Camera

Although I did use bold to highlight the word “camera” above, it should be more than that. It’s CAMERA. Goinee Elife E8 has a huge 24 mega pixel sensor on the back. Though number of pixels alone do not determine the quality of the camera, This sensor delivers actually great performance. The photos are crispy with appropriate contrast. Final Thoughts

Even though this device has great specs, it is expensive and has to compete with famous companies like Motorola, Samsung. This device got reviews as facing heating problems sometimes with heavy using and extensive usage of ultra pixel mode. Had the company made an attempt to make a device which fits into average price bracket with quality specs, may be it would have reach to more people. That said, if you are a person who want to try a device not from Samsung or Motorola and found it’s features attractive, you can give this a try.
