LeEco, formally known as LeTv announced Le1s as their budget friendly device today with great specifications which is priced at ₹10,999 and set to be available exclusively on Flipkart. This device is another example of how companies are focusing on market of average users who concern about budget and how popular these devices are especially in India.

LeEco Le1s is a huge device interms of size and display. With the former name, LeTV, this company was one of the first to announce a huge device with 6.33″ display back in last year which was insanely big. After altering their brand, the company decided to keep that same spec a little bit low in this device. LeEco Le1s has 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD display(1920 x 1080, @403PPI) with 500nits brightness. For a 10k price bracket, FHD display is a great asset without a second thought. This display would give you high quality visuals with appropriate brightness, great color production and amazing viewing angles. If you are a fan of pixels and concerning about having low budget, there you go.

Under the hood, LeEco Le1s features 2.2 GHz octacore Mediatek Helio X10 MT6795T SoC coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU. Running a customized skin EUI 5.5 from the company on top of Android Lollipop v5.0 operating system, this device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB flash memory.

For a device coming at this price bracket, these are great specifications indeed. The performance from this device would be top notch without any lags. You can throw in bunch of apps, run high-end graphical games without any hesitation. With it’s Full HD display, this device can give you great quality while viewing multi media content as well. Even though the expandable storage isn’t announced yet, 32GB memory isn’t bad at all at this price. Overall, on paper, huge thumbs of for the core specs of LeEco Le1s.

The camera department of LeEco Le1s seems great too. This device features 13 MP primary ISOCELL sensor (Phase-Detect Auto focus, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture ) on the back and 5 MP Samsung S5K5E2 (85-degree wide angle lens) sensor on the front. This camera supports 4K video recording as well @ 30 frames per second and 720p HD video at 120 frames per second. Again on paper, a 10K device supporting 4K video recording is definitely an asset to this device, without any doubt. You can except great quality shots from this device on day light, and LED flash comes to rescue under low light conditions. On the front side also, with it’s wide angle lens, you can take group selfies with your friends and family.

LeEco Le1s has 3000mAh battery inside and comes in gold color. You can expect great battery backup from this device although the backup time depends on your usage primarily. Since it has FHD display and octa core processor inside, if you are an average user, you can definitely get a full day. Connectivity options in this device are good too, LeEco Le1s is a 4G enabled Dual SIM (nano+micro) device supporting Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac bands, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB type -C and MHL 2.0. Embedded with Infrared sensor, this device has Dirac HD audio technology to give you better audio quality.

Overall, I couldn’t find anything major to not to buy this device. Though it doesn’t have NFC, Expandable storage, it excels in other areas on paper such as FHD display, great processor, nice camera with 4K video recording, and connectivity options. This device is available in Flipkart
