Pepsi has made the debut in mobile market by launching two Android smartphones named Pepsi P1 and P1s. We have already covered all the features of Pepsi P1 earlier and this post contains all the important things related to Pepsi P1s. for the first time, a soft drink company has entered into mobile market. They have debuted at such a time, when some other established companies like Motorola, Samsung, HTC are dominated this market since a long time now.
Therefore, if you are willing to know more about Pepsi P1s, which is an entry-level smartphone, here you go. This is prices at Rs. 6,999, which is same as Moto E – newest edition. However, before compare it with other smartphones, do check out its features.
The P1 and P1s have similar design. That simple implies you can find all the similarities in this mobile. You will get three touch sensitive buttons including home, back and recent apps. On the other hand, you will get sensors, camera etc. on the top. In the back side, you will get camera and flash. Apart from them, a Pepsi logo is printed on the back side. The dimension of this mobile is 152.2 x 76.2 x 7.7mm, which is not too small. In fact, you can get some problem to use this mobile one-handedly. The weight of this mobile 158gm.
Network & Connectivity
Alike other mobiles, you will get 2G, 3G as well as 4G LTE in this mobile. Although, P1 comes with 4G LTE partially, yet, you can find LTE completely in this mobile. This is a dual SIM mobile and both can be used simultaneously. Although, the network frequency vary from region to region, yet, the common frequencies are 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz GSM, 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz HSDPA and 800 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 MHz LTE. You will get Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth too.
Alike Pepsi P1, this mobile also has 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen. But, you will get a IPS LCD display, which is really good at this price range. This is almost needless to mention that multitouch is available in this display. Along with that, you should know that the color density is 16M and the pixels density is ~401ppi. The screen resolution is pretty impressive it is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The chipset is same as Pepsi P1. That means, you will get MediaTek MT6592. On the other hand, the processor is octa-core and the lock speed is 1.7 GHz. That simply implies how good it is. You know that most of the MediaTek chipsets are better than some Snapdragon chipsets & one of them is included in this mobile. Apart from that, you will get Mali 450 GPU.
RAM & Storage
This is a common feature in today’s mobiles. That means, you will get 2GB RAM. Although, it is common yet it will certainly provide a great experience because of the combination of chipset, processor and RAM. For multi-tasking, it will not produce any problem. A 16GB internal storage is included in this mobile, which can be extended up to 32GB using microSD card.
As mentioned before, you will get two cameras. The rear camera is 13MP, which comes with LED flash, geo-tagging, autofocus, HDR etc. The good news is you can record video in 1080p at 30 FPS using this rear camera. In addition, a 5MP front facing camera is also available in this mobile for video calling and selfie. When other mobiles at this price range are providing 8MP camera, Pepsi is giving away 13MP rear camera. This is a big plus point.
Alike Pepsi P1, you will get a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery in this mobile. Although, this not confirmed, yet, it seems you can get 25hours+ talk time on 2G and 22hours+ on 3G.
