Motorola launched couple of new smartphones back in May. They are Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus etc. Recently, the Korean mobile manufacturer, Samsung, has launched a new Android smartphone called Samsung Galaxy J Max, which comes with a decent feature. This is basically a phablet instead of a mobile. Body & Design
Both of the mobiles look pretty good but J Max seems better than Moto G4 Plus because of the color combination. The golden version of J Max is pure gold, which means, you can find a great device or looks. On the other hand, Moto G4 Plus looks sophisticated device. But, you can find a lot of difference between the size of these mobiles. The dimension of J Max is 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm and the dimension of Moto G4 Plus is 153 x 76.6 x 9.8 mm. Considering that, you can find a lot of difference in weights of them. However, the main plus point is fingerprint sensor, which is available in Moto G4 Plus.
Display, Hardware & Camera
Samsung Galaxy J Max has a massive 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen when Moto G4 Plus has 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. Although, 5.5-inch display is not small but it is actually smaller compared to 7-inch display. However, the resolution of 7-inch display is actually less than 5.5 inch display. You will get a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels in J Max and 1080 x 1920 pixels in Moto G4 Plus. The best thing is Moto device has Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Talking about the performance, the Motorola device should perform better as it comes with Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 along with either Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 or quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. On the other hand, you can find Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset along with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. The lower version of Moto G4 Plus has 1.2GHz clock speed but the overall performance would be better than the competitor. For graphics, you will get Mali-400MP2 in J max and Adreno 405 in Moto G4 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy J Max includes 1.5GB RAM along with 8GB internal storage when you can find 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage in Moto G4 Plus. The higher variant comes with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. However, the similarity is you will get microSD card support in both of the mobiles.
The very next thing is camera. You will get only 8MP rear camera in J Max but Moto G4 Plus has 16MP rear camera with better specifications. Front facing camera also has a different. 2MP front camera can be found in J Max but Moto G4 Plus has 5MP front facing camera.
The last but not the least thing is battery. This time, Samsung has won the race as it comes with Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery when Moto G4 Plus has Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. Obviously, you will get a better battery backup from J Max.
