net start cryptsvc

Therefore, you can start the Windows Update again to complete the catroot2 folder reset. It should fix your problem.

If the error code 0x80200056 is occurring while updating your Windows 10 computer, these following solutions would be helpful for you. Like the aforementioned error code, you need to check out the SoftwareDistribution folder. Also, ensure your laptop is fully charged. As this error code is associated with the hardware update, users get this error if the PC restarts suddenly during the installation of the update.

Recover Deleted Files After Windows 10 Update

Many users claimed that V1809 caused a weird issue. After the update installation, they lost their files those were stored in the Library folders, i.e., Music, Videos, Documents, etc. If you are one of the victims, you can follow this path-

sfc /scannow
