Everything Google Launched at Google Event October 2018

Although according to few people, Google was in a hurry, they have managed to launch some awesome products for the consumers at the Google Event in October 2018. This is probably the biggest news for Pixel lovers since Google has launched another set of Pixel phone named Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. You might already know that Google has forsaken the Nexus series back in 2016 with the launch of the first-generation Pixel. According to Google, these two newly launched mobile phones are much better than previous Pixel devices, and thus, you can deduce a much better user experience while holding these two devices on your hand. Talking about the look and configuration, some leaks have come true. Being said that, Pixel 3 XL has a notch, a better display, and better sound quality. Unlike other companies, Google kept the one camera set up on the rear when they have added two camera setups on the front. According to them, it would help consumers take better selfie even when they are in a large group. Both of the mobiles are water and dust resistant with a rating of IP68. It comes with Playground that will let you bring down some cartoon or cinematic characters into real-world via AI and Google Lens. On the other hand, it includes Titan Security and to maintain it; these two mobiles have an inbuilt chip. You can find these devices in three different color combinations including Clearly White, Just Black and Not Pink. In India, Pixel 3 is priced at ₹71,000, and the Pixel 3 XL is priced at ₹92,000.

Pixel Slate

Google launched Pixel C; the Chrome OS-powered tablet, back in 2015. Later they have tried a couple of products with Chrome OS. However, now they have taken the whole thing to the next level by launching Pixel Slate, another Chrome OS-powered 2-in-1 tablet that will let you fulfill your demand for entertainment as well as work. Pixel Slate has 12.3-inch Molecular Display with dual front firing speakers and some other awesome components that will spruce up your user experience. Talking about that, you can find four variants of this device.

  4. 8th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor, 16GB RAM, and 256GB Storage. Price: $1599

No matter what variant you opt for, you will get midnight Blue color combination. On the other hand, 48Wh battery is included in this device. Regarding the camera, you will get 8MP camera that can capture a highly professional image for you. Apart from that, fingerprint sensor is also included for security purpose. The best thing is you can attach a keyboard that is specially developed for Google Pixel Slate. No charge or anything else is required.

Google Home Hub

Previously, there were two different products to make your home even smarter, and those were Google Home and Google Home Mini. Both of them helped users to manage all the smart home equipment including light, door lock and so on. However, now consumers can interact with the smart device even better since Google has included a screen to the controller called Google Home Hub. This smart device comes with a 7-inch LCD touch screen along with full range speakers, light sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and many more. You can put this device anywhere, and it will start working after synchronizing all the smart devices you have in your home. As it has Google Assistant, you can get personalized user experience. For example, if you have three members in your home, it can detect the voice of all the people and shows you different things based on the person. Google Pixel Stand

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have wireless charging facility, and therefore, you need the wireless charging port around you. For that, Google has launched Google Pixel Stand, a wireless charging port that will let you charge your Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices. It not only charges your device, but also it shows personalized functions while charging. It gets synchronized with Google Assistant, and therefore, you will get a much better user experience than a regular wireless charging port. Let’s assume that you have installed Nest Hello video doorbell and you are charging your Pixel 3 on Pixel Stand. At such moment, if someone knocks the bell, it will display that on your device so that you do not have to go near to the door to answer the person. This device is priced at $79.

These are some of the devices Google launched at the Google Pixel Event in October 2018. However, they have rolled out a lot of new functionalities for the Pixel 3 devices, and Chromecast, which they have re-launched with 15% improvements.
