Indian Smart devices brand XOLO by Lava International launched a budget-friendly smart phone Black 1X as a successor to it’s Black. This phone came out with some great specifications on box and attractive price bracket. Let’s take a look at this device and find out whether it’s worth a buy.

XOLO Black 1X has a body made of plastic with metallic finishing on sides with curvy edges around with glassy back. So, back side may get your fingerprints. It has physical home, back, and menu buttons on glass finishing and feels good while holding in hand. It looks nice with it’s unique design and gives good grip . It is 7.5mm thick and feels light and weighs nearly 125 grams. This device has dragon trial glass protection to avoid damage on the screen.

It has a 5 inch 1080p(1920 x 1080) Full HD display which is one of it’s assets. The display has nice viewing angles, and nice color production and responsiveness.

Processing Units and Software

This device has 1.3GHz 64-bit Octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 450MHz Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. It has 3GB RAM with 32 GB Internal Storage which is expandable upto 128Gigs using Micro SD Card. This device runs Android Lollipop V5.1 having HIVE Atlas UI on top of it.

For the price tag this device comes with, there are great specs. Even though this is not the best performing device, but it runs smoothly without any hitching while using it. You can load some games on this device and store your multi media also. Storage won’t be a problem for many people using this device.

This device has 13MP camera with LED flash on the back and 5MP sensor with LED flash on the front.

But wait, having number of pixels does not mean the device gives better shots. Image processing inside makes the device to give nice shots. This camera is not the best on smart phones right no, but delivers decent performance on day light and you can get some nice shots there. But this device suffers while delivering on low light sometimes, and gets blurry focus while using it, as per our sources.

Battery Performance

This device comes with 2400 mAh non removable battery on the back. With the display and processing power, this gives nice performance, if not the best. If you are an average user, you would be able to last a day with this guy.

This device is available for purchase on Snapdeal for 10k. This is a great device for the given price bracket with 3GB RAM and 32 GB Storage and nice display. Even though it has cons such as decent camera and average battery life, you can make those sacrifices for the price you can get this device.
