How to Unlock Bootloader and Root Huawei Mate 10 Pro
Huawei announced the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, its flagship series smartphone a couple of months back and it was officially released a few weeks ago. Developers have already started working on the custom ROMs and other root based apps for the device which is evident from the fact that the SuperSu and Magisk Module necessary for rooting the device are already available.
The developer forums for the Huawei Mate 10 Pro on the XDA Developers website are already active and a senior developer at the forums, otoneiru, has already posted a method on the forum for unlocking the bootloader and rooting the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. However, the TWRP recovery for the device is currently not available but you can follow the below instructions to unlock the bootloader of your device and root it.

I asked for the bootloader code of my Huawei Ascend Y330 and they told me that they couldn’t find one. Clearly, this model has a locked bootloader. An unlock code should exist for it. Do you know what’s up with that?
